What are Breakout Sessions?

BREAKOUT SESSIONS are workshop intensives hosted monthly by REEL U FILM.

One weekend a month, we gather some of the busiest & coolest casting directors, agents and managers to work with actors via Zoom in smaller class environments; providing ample time to work with actors on their scenes, make adjustments and - well - connect!

SAG/AFTRA & C.S.A.

Our classes or seminars are for educational purposes only. They will not secure or provide opportunity for employment in the field or representation by an agent/manager or casting director.

The entertainment industry can be overwhelming, daunting and intimidating. Our mission is to provide workshops that are down-to-earth, easy-going and affordable. And, since it's virtual, actors from all over the US can sign up. Not in NYC, LA or ATL? No prob.

How do I prep?

Yay! We can't wait to see you in our workshop! You're gonna slay.

For our Film/TV Casting Director/Agent/Manager sessions, we ask that you bring in a scene (no longer than 3 pages) that you feel fits your branding/is a role you could see yourself playing.

We ask that you prepare the scene as if you've already got the role. Please come off-book with your lines memorized. REEL U FILM will provide a scene partner to read the scene with you. After you've performed your first take, the industry guest will give you feedback and you'll have an opportunity to perform it again.

All you have to bring to these workshops is your beautiful personality, your willingness to work & your talent. That's it!
